Pollution Solutions
In-Situ/Passive - Forager Sponge is used in-situ or passive remediations wherein water to be treated flows by gravity effect through a bed of the Sponge.Storm Water - Forager Sponge is used in treating storm water that is channeled through a conduit containing the Sponge.
Solids/Sludge - Forager Sponge is used to treat solids and sludges that accumulate as a result of water treatment operations. In such applications, the Sponge is admixed with a pourable slurry of the solids or sludge, and the mixture is tumbled to cause transfer of metal ions to the Sponge. Filtration of the mixture through a 1/4" mesh grate separates out the Sponge with its absorbed metals.
